Full Steam Ahead For Construction of The Summer House

13 June 2018 by Adam Stead

It has been an exciting couple of months at Seachange Toowoomba with the civil works powering ahead and the $1.7million Summer House starting to take shape. Prioritising the construction of this important feature of the resort before any individual homes, speaks volumes of Seachange’s commitment to building a true community.

“We want to ensure that the day that our first residents move in they will be able to take advantage of this wonderful facility. In just a few short months this building will become a vibrant hub of activity, a place where people can come together to enjoy the company of like-minded neighbours and new friends.” Says Director of Sales and Marketing, Alex McMahon.

Once finished, the Summer House will feature a tennis court, heated swimming pool, barbecue facilities, fire pit, and outdoor decking. The design of this particular building has been given much thought, with an aesthetic that is quintessentially Toowoomba, whilst taking inspiration from the classic Hamptons style.

If you would like to see the progress on this exciting new project for yourself, you can visit the sales office which is now open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm at 99 Hampton Street or call 1800 046 500.

Local business to build homes in $71m lifestyle resort

5 June 2018 by Adam Stead

With over 20 years’ experience in building quality homes in the Toowoomba region, Nick Ruhle Homes has been appointed by Pradella Property Ventures’ for the construction of the much anticipated Seachange Toowoomba homes, in this prestigious new over 50’s resort.

“The choice to appoint Nick Ruhle Homes was born out of wanting to partner with a local Toowoomba builder whose values and quality matched the high standards that Seachange deliver,” says Phil Goodman CEO Pradella Property Ventures.

“My desire to be partnered with a multi-award winning developer such as Seachange is an exciting opportunity and undoubtedly this initial 5 million dollar contract will support the local economy with nearly all of my trades and suppliers coming from Toowoomba,” Nick Ruhle stated.

“The brief was clear, design homes that were quintessentially Toowoomba with a Hampton’s theme. The designs have exceeded our initial expectations and we are looking forward to the first houses being completed in the coming months” continued Mr Goodman.

With a range of designs available to suit buyer preferences the release of the home plans and pricing this week has met with increased activity at the onsite sales centre. Buyers can view first-hand the spectacular location with elevated views to the north over Adams Park and the superb quality of the homes’ fixtures and fittings. The first stage of 20 homes is expected to start construction shortly,” said Goodman.

“I have been pleasantly surprised this morning to see the progress that Pradella have made in their civil construction in such a short space of time. It is clear to see the development of this parcel of land that adjoins Adams Park will enhance the look and feel of Harristown,” said Toowoomba Regional Councillor Chris Tait

Forget the notion of small cramped retirement homes; Seachange Toowoomba is all about space, privacy and maintenance-free living in a multi-million dollar community. With pricing released for the 2 or 3 bedroom architecturally designed homes from $379,000 to $525,000.
This announcement follows the recent commencement of construction of a key feature of Seachange Toowoomba – The Summer House, the centre of lifestyle and active recreation which will offer residents Tennis Courts, heated swimming pool, Fire Pit, Outdoor BBQ and many other resident-only features.

Limited to 162 low set 2 or 2+ multi-purpose room homes, each of the architecturally designed dwellings have been designed to take full advantage of the premium location and provide a strong connection to the local environment with floor plans specifically designed to bring the outdoors in.

Work starts on $1.7m Hamptons-style resort summer house

5 June 2018 by steadlane

CONSTRUCTION work has already started on a $1.7 million Hamptons-style summer house on an upcoming retirement resort.
The Toowoomba branch of Hutchinson Builders turned the first ground at the key piece of infrastructure in Pradella Property Ventures’ $71 million Seachange Hampton St in the city’s western suburbs dubbed “the Hamptons in Harristown”, PPV CEO Phillip Goodman said the wooden summer house would be a centrepiece structure for the 162 dwellings on the massive new estate
“For this sort of project, you have to create something that has a sense of place,” he said.
“We have to find something that is quintessential Toowoomba and brings value to Toowoomba.
“I think this particular building will be iconic in that area.
Once finished, the summer house will feature a tennis court, fire pit, swimming pool, barbecue facilities and outdoor decking.
Hutchinson team leader Shaun Spry said it was an uncommon build for the workers.
“The style and aesthetics with this project are a little bit of a rarity in this day and age, and we’re excited to be part of the build process to deliver a quality turn-key product,” he said.
