Sneak Peek of Seachange

26 April 2017 by Terence Moyana

Attendance at the recent “Sneak Peek” Twilight Viewing event at Seachange Emerald Lakes over 50’s gated country surpassed all expectations.

The “Sneak Peek” event held overlooking the picturesque 37ha Lake, was the first opportunity for people to see completed homes and get first impressions of the $75 million Seachange Emerald Lakes over 50’s gated country club estate project.

“There was an overwhelming response by invited Carrara locals and those who have expressed an interest in the project,” said Seachange Project Director, Phil Goodman. “127 people attended, with a further 110 turned away”.

he Seachange vision was to invigorate the mind, body and soul of the people who live there, with a range of health and wellness activities focussed at the five star County Club. Facilities include outdoor pool and indoor heated pool, flood lit tennis court, private cinema, gym, wellness centre and direct golf buggy access to an 18-hole championship golf course, stated Mr Goodman.

“Moving to Seachange is not about changing where you live, but how you live,” said he said.

Seachange Emerald Lakes delivers a fresh new alternative for over 50’s who want an active lifestyle within a secure community of like-minded people. The first residents have began to move in to their Stage One homes so they can be settled in time for Christmas.

The community will feature 126 homes in a master planned estate with everything you need at your fingertips. Many lifestyle amenities are on its doorstep including 13km of walking and bike tracks, a vibrant retail and commercial precinct, as well as upmarket restaurants and cafes – all easily accessed by golf buggy.

There is direct access to the M1 motorway to Brisbane and it is only 5 minutes’ drive to the Nerang Rail link and 10 minutes’ drive to Broadbeach and the Gold Coast beaches.

Seachange Emerald Lakes is the second property in the Seachange portfolio and follows on the great success of the award winning Seachange Arundel, which has been operating for five years.

Pradella surges ahead with Seachange Lifestyle Resorts over 50’s brand

18 April 2017 by Terence Moyana

Pradella Property Ventures, the developer behind Seachange Lifestyle Resorts has again renewed their confidence in the Gold Coast property market by securing a rare blue chip development site.

Less than 10 days after it was revealed that Pradella Property Ventures had lodged a development application for a $70 million 160 dwelling Seachange Lifestyle Resort in Toowoomba, they have again snapped up a premium waterfront development in an off market transaction at Upper Coomera.

The undisclosed sale price is rumoured to be in excess of $10million and comprises of one 3ha approved site and a 3ha residential allotment. Once complete will showcase 130 dwellings worth $75million.

The transaction represents the strong depth in the market for premium blue chip sites, with nearly 200m of deep water frontage, the development will be magnificent once complete. The vendor was keen to ensure he sold to a privately owned family company with a good track record. “Seachange was the perfect fit” said Jayde Pezet from KM Sales and Marketing who negotiated the transaction.

Changes to be made

It is understood that the approved site will undergo some changes before marketing commences with the second site subject to council approval. “The current approval does not fit our brand, Seachange is known for its premium homes in unique, irreplaceable locations. A development application will need to be lodged over the whole site delivering a high quality master planned resort that takes advantage of the waterfront position and enhances the area”, said Alex McMahon from Seachange Lifestyle Resorts.

Pradella Property Ventures recently completed two developments, Seachange Lifestyle Resorts Arundel and Emerald Lakes, with a total value in excess of $300Million and 540 dwellings. Both resorts have been designed for over 50’s and offer some of the most expensive amenities seen in any resort in Australia. “We are extremely excited about this acquisition. The success of the last two developments gives us great confidence in the Gold Coast; properties in such premium locations are a hard find” said Alex McMahon.

The over 50’s market continues to grow with demand far outstripping supply. Pradella appears to be positioned well to absorb this demand with $260million in the development pipeline.

Turn Up The Lights – The Famous Christmas Lights at Seachange Lifestyle Resorts.

21 December 2016 by Terence Moyana

There is something magical about walking through streets where rows of houses are all glowing with Christmas cheer. Both Seachange Emerald Lakes and Arundel communities are filled with stunning Christmas lights which twinkle and sparkle making it easy to see the magic of Christmas and the warmth of the holiday spirit amongst all residents.  When it comes to holiday festivities, decorations and good cheer the residents unite, don’t hold back and certainly don’t disappoint.

“It’s all a bit of fun.  The resident’s homes with displays and decorations are without a doubt a fantastic way to bring people together and celebrate the festive season, according to Seachange Arundel resident Nadine Swanney.”

Many resident’s family and friends from both communities joined together, over the weekend to celebrate and recognise the winners for the house light decorations.  Whilst some residents get into decorating more than others everyone is on board.  Clearly the residents were all so impressed with such a variety of displays ranging from contemporary to traditional lighting all highlighting the festive time of Christmas.  According to Seachange Lifestyle Resort’s CEO Phil Goodman, “it simply just gets better and bigger each year.”

It is wonderful to see the greater Seachange community embrace the Christmas spirit through such fabulous light displays and congratulations to the winners for spreading good cheer with their festive displays.  For the second year running Rob and Nadine Swanney from Arundel took out first prize with Emerald Lakes resident Yvonne Cole-Davidson claiming the coveted People’s Choice award for the second year running as well.

Arundel festivities went off with a bang, Santa and Mrs Clause made an appearance as well as Mr Balloon Man who lit up the Children’s smiles. The Seachange Songbirds also performed to the delight of resident’s and their families and friends. The resident’s choir performance at Emerald Lakes filled the room with laughter and cheer with their very witty and clever rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas at Seachange.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Christmas lights competition and we wish everyone a very merry Christmas and look forward to a ‘bright’ 2017.

Christmas ‘Lights’ up the Seachange Community

6 December 2016 by Terence Moyana

Seachange Lifestyle Resort residents at both Arundel and Emerald Lakes are putting the ‘Griswalds’ to shame with a dazzling display of Christmas lights and cheer that is lighting up the neighbourhoods, with all residents feeling the spirit of Christmas.

It is purely and simply magical to see street after street twinkling and shining with such animated lights.  The community within Arundel turned on their lights on the 27th November with such excitement. ‘The Songbirds’ choir were singing the goodies and the old time favourite Christmas Carols and around the streets bell ringers were contributing to the festivities.  Streets were blocked off to cater to the various street parties where kids frolicked, sausages sizzled and corks popped!

Emerald Lakes turned their lights on the first weekend in December.  Clearly the spirit of Christmas is evident within the Seachange Community at Emerald Lakes.  Last year’s winner Yvonne Cole-Davidson says, “there is always room for lights at Christmas and it is lights that enable me to share my love of Christmas.”  Residents at Emerald Lakes have well and truly found their Christmas spirit, through not only decorating their homes but also their buggies as well, creating such a festive atmosphere full of joy and good cheer.

Every year the number of homes decorated increase as does the decorating of houses and streets making the greater Seachange Community come to life with all residents living it large after dusk.  “Seachange is a very close knit community so it is important to do all we can to celebrate and enjoy the Christmas festivities together,” according to Arundel resident Dorothy Nies.
