Cultivating more than veggies

19 November 2018 by Adam Stead

Nestled near the stunning River House and Bocce Court at Seachange Riverside Coomera is the newly community garden. Officially opened on the 26th October, this garden has already seen residents involved and excited about growing organic vegetables and fruits.

Resident Wil Beekman has played an integral role in establishing this garden at an early stage as she started planting vegetables and herbs early in October. “I love the idea of being able to come and pick up fresh veggies for my salads. I used to have a veggie garden at my house and I like that I can continue doing it here”, she said.

Maureen Jones, the very first resident at Seachange Riverside Coomera, also showed great interest as she is an active member of a local gardening club in the Gold Coast.

Comprised within this garden are a variety of citrus trees, vegetables, fruit and herbs. The garden also has some fabulous decor and features that complement the different produce and its scenic surrounds.

The community garden, within Seachange Riverside Coomera, is a great way to grow food, foster good health, and cultivate vibrant friendships.

Seachange Toowoomba Opens

6 November 2018 by Adam Stead

Judging by the enthusiastic response at the official opening on November 1, with the symbolic cutting of a red ribbon into the complex, the Seachange Lifestyle Resort in Toowoomba is going to be a resounding success.

In perfect weather conditions a lively group of prospective residents invited to the opening chatted excitedly as they viewed the luxurious facilities the project will offer when completed. The construction of the resort – aimed at the over 50s – was only begun on February 22 of this year but it is already obvious that Seachange has a lot to offer to those looking for this type of lifestyle. So far a handful of the 162 homes planned for the boutique community have been completed.

To those viewing, the high quality of craftsmanship was evident as the homes are to be set amongst wide leafy boulevards and carefully constructed gardens. There was immediate feeling of comfort and homeliness for those wishing to downsize and to reduce their responsibilities without having to compromise.

Seachange Toowoomba offers two separate recreational facility precincts, The Summer House and Main Clubhouse. The resort is aiming to play host to a calendar of interesting events where residents can interact as a true community. The amenities that are being provided cover a range wide and disparate enough to satisfy everyone. These feature heated indoor and outdoor pools, a gymnasium, a tennis court, a bowling green and a sauna. There will also be a meeting room, lounge, art studio, commercial kitchen, cinema, woodworking shop and, for those wanting to relax at the end of the day, a bar.

Seachange Toowoomba is the latest project undertaken by Pradella Developments, which is among the leading development companies in the property market in south-east Queensland. The company is part of the Pradella Group, which was established in 1959 and has long been renowned for its quality products.

At Seachange we believe that active people are happy and healthy people, and a true sea change is not just changing where you live, but how you live. Resort to a Sea Change

5 October 2018 by Adam Stead

As seen in the Home Magazine of the Courier Mail, 11 August 2018 by Emily Black

Pradella has swapped terms such as “retirement living” for “lifestyle resorts”, in a bid to more accurately reflect their latest offering for the over-50s’ markets.

Pradella Director of Sales and Marketing Alex McMahon said with more than five million Australians expected to be aged 65 or over by 2025, they were taking the opportunity to change the face of the retirement sector.

Mr McMahon said the company was expanding its range of residential projects with the release of architecturally designed homes in prime locations for the exclusive use of over 50s.

“We brought this approach to our Upper Coomera and Toowoomba projects and made modifications to the masterplans to create designs that will grow with the community and help create a truly better place to live,” he said.

“Today’s Baby Boomers have high expectations for their retirement lifestyle, so location and design of the home are both vitally important.

“As a developer of over 50s communities our focus weighs heavily on these aspects, it’s why we invest a lot of time into researching market trends, finding the right sites, developing masterplans and creating homes that respond to the needs of modern seniors.”

Mr McMahon said with stage one already completed at Seachange Riverside Coomera, stage two had now been released to potential buyers.

“First homes have settled with residents moving in from April 2018,” he said, “The river house with a pool, bocce court, yoga studio, library, barbecue, kitchen and bar is due for completion on October 31,” he said.

“The country club is due for completion in November 2019.”

Seachange, it’s not just about where you live, but how you live

20 September 2018 by Adam Stead

Most often, a seachange describes the move from a city in favour of a better life in a coastal community. The release of the first stage of Seachange Lifestyle Resort Toowoomba, has left many locals wondering how they can have a seachange whilst remaining in the beautiful Darling Downs region.

Pradella Property Ventures, the company currently developing the new Seachange Toowoomba Resort on Hampton Street, have taken this inherent concept of a change for the better and shaped it into a core philosophy. A true seachange is not just changing where you live, but how you live.

“You don’t need to move to a coastal location to enjoy a better lifestyle” says Director of Sales and Marketing for Seachange Alex McMahon. “It’s about enjoying an easier life, where you have the opportunity to reward yourself for a lifetime of hard work.”

Seachange Toowoomba will be the fourth Lifestyle Resort to be built by Pradella Property Ventures and like each of their existing award winning projects, it will feature a 5-star Country Club and recreational facilities that have been design to nourish the mind, body and soul.

To nourish the mind, they have incorporated a library, arts and craft studio and workshop so you can continue to develop your life skills and hobbies. To nourish the body, there will be the best sporting facilities including bowls green, tennis court, indoor and outdoor heated pools and gym so you can keep fit and fabulous. To nourish the soul, they have designed beautiful community spaces where you and your friends can come together to share and create memories. In addition to the resorts facilities residents enjoy the peace of mind that comes from living in a securely gated estate.

Stage 1 of Seachange Toowoomba is now under construction, the first homes ready to settle in October this year. The Summer house facility with swimming pool, tennis court, BBQ and entertaining facilities is also under construction and will be completed prior to the first residents moving in.

The resort’s sales office is open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm for those who want to learn more. Call 1800 546 655 to arrange a time to visit.

Full Steam Ahead For Construction of The Summer House

13 June 2018 by Adam Stead

It has been an exciting couple of months at Seachange Toowoomba with the civil works powering ahead and the $1.7million Summer House starting to take shape. Prioritising the construction of this important feature of the resort before any individual homes, speaks volumes of Seachange’s commitment to building a true community.

“We want to ensure that the day that our first residents move in they will be able to take advantage of this wonderful facility. In just a few short months this building will become a vibrant hub of activity, a place where people can come together to enjoy the company of like-minded neighbours and new friends.” Says Director of Sales and Marketing, Alex McMahon.

Once finished, the Summer House will feature a tennis court, heated swimming pool, barbecue facilities, fire pit, and outdoor decking. The design of this particular building has been given much thought, with an aesthetic that is quintessentially Toowoomba, whilst taking inspiration from the classic Hamptons style.

If you would like to see the progress on this exciting new project for yourself, you can visit the sales office which is now open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm at 99 Hampton Street or call 1800 046 500.
